Not only is this pump energy efficient but it is smart too. I call it a smart pump because it is designed to communicate with other automation devices to future proof your pool. This allows you to run it at its most economical speed most of the time – saving you money on electricity but vary its speed to meet the demand of other devices such as when the pool cleaner comes on, or the Gas heater is switched on or the solar heating decides the solar gain on the roof is worth sending water up to heat. This pump can vary its speed to pump water to the roof whilst a motorized actuator valve will divert the water to the roof solar absorbers.
